Terms and Conditions
1. By sending / bringing any items to be repaired to AJ ElecTech you are agreeing with the terms and conditions below and to pay the full price of the repair (including parts) and postage (if applicable) as agreed before the repair goes ahead.
If the item is BER (beyond economical repair) you will be contacted and told so. The item will be returned (at the customer’s expense).
AJ ElecTech does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage in transit. All items are sent recorded delivery and any problems will be the responsibility of the courier company.
2. The warranty provided only covers the unit repaired with the previous fault. It will not cover any unrelated issues with the same unit.
3. Until payment is received in full, AJ ElecTech has the rights to withhold the item from you. If after 60 days payment has not been received, we have the rights to dispose of the item however necessary. You will be contacted by us when your device is repaired or deemed BER.
If collection/contact hasn’t been made within 60 days of repairing/contact or is deemed BER, we reserve the right to dispose of this item on the 61st day.
4. Payments are due in full upon completion of work. No Fix No Fee means AJ ElecTech will look at and do a basic assessment on your device free of charge (excluding postage where applicable). More invasive assessments are chargeable but you will be told in advance.
5. If an item is returned, it must include all accessories sent with unless otherwise stated. It must also be accompanied by details giving the reason for its return and who it is from.
AJ ElecTech offer a 90-day warranty for the same repair only (unless stated otherwise). Some repairs will only hold 60 days but this will be stated otherwise.
WARRANTY IS VOID if the unit shows evidence of having been tampered with (broken seal) or shows evidence of being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion, heat, moisture, vibration, improper specification, misapplication, misuse, abuse or other operating conditions outside of AJ ElecTech's control.
AJ ElecTech will take no responsibilities for unrelated faults on the same unit or any other accidental damage that may occur or may have occurred.
In the event of the item developing the same fault as originally repaired within the warranty period, further repairs on the item will be done at no extra costs to the customer (this excludes postage where applicable).
iPhone 6-11 Pro Premium screen range have an Extended 6 Months Warranty against LCD/OLED damage, liquid damage, touchscreen not working, separated from frame and screen blemishes. Such warranty will only be honoured if the outer glass isn't cracked, chipped or smashed.
6. The average repair time for common repairs (such as phone screens) is 1 hour if delivered by hand or repaired in the van. If posted, this can take up to 10 days. Larger items can take longer, please ask for details.
7. In some cases, however rare, information stored within your unit’s memory may be deleted or become corrupt. Please make sure that your device is backed up fully before it is brought in for repair as no guarantee can be given that the information will be retained. AJ ElecTech accept no responsibility for any data lost while repairs are being carried out.
8. For very expensive repairs, AJ ElecTech may ask for a deposit before your item is taken in for repair.
9. The terms and conditions stated here are to be governed by and are put together in accordance with the English law and any disputes related to these will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
AJ ElecTech reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions as deemed necessary from time to time.
